Free Food For All was founded in 2014 by Nizar Mohamed Shariff, affectionately known as "Big Bear", with a simple yet powerful vision: to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Driven by compassion and a deep commitment to serving others, he set out to support underprivileged families and uplift lives through access to nutritious food.

What began as a humble ground-up initiative has since grown into a community movement, reaching across diverse groups and touching countless lives. Through the years, Free Food For All has remained steadfast in its mission to strengthen food security and ensure that every family has access to the nourishment they need.

In 2020, we mourned the passing of our founder. While his loss was deeply felt, his spirit continues to guide our work every day. The values he championed compassion, dignity and service remain at the heart of everything we do.

Today, Free Food For All carries forward Big Bear's legacy, powered by a dedicated network of volunteers, partners, and supporters. Together, we continue his mission to serve, uplift, and ensure that no one is left behind.
